Our Permanent Eyeliner Services in Mississauga

During your eyeliner appointment, we prioritize high-quality and safe service. The eye area is the most sensitive spot on the face for any permanent makeup procedure, so the standards have to be high.

Every cartridge our cosmetic tattoo artists use is sterile, single-use, and disposed of right after your session. We place reusable tools in an ultrasonic bath, seal them in dated pouches, and run them through a medical-grade autoclave. We also do daily in-house spore tests and send independent lab tests twice a month to confirm everything is working as it should.

Also, cheap pigments tend to shift colour as they fade. They can turn blue, green, or grey instead of softening evenly. We use the best pigments to ensure that you get the best results.

What is Permanent Eyeliner?

Permanent eyeliner is a type of permanent makeup where a skilled technician places fine pigment along the lash line. The result looks like the eyeliner you'd put on with a steady hand, except it stays on through sleep, sweat, and long days.

Some people call it semi-permanent makeup because it fades gradually over one to two years. That’s because cosmetic tattooing pigments and techniques differ from those used in regular tattoos, but the safety standards are exactly the same.

Who is Permanent Eyeliner For?

Permanent eyeliner is for anyone tired of redoing their liner every day. It's popular with people who have sparse lashes, thinning lashes, oily lids, watery eyes, or shaky hands. Busy professionals also love them because they save time.

A few situations call for caution. If you have an active eyelid condition, recent eye surgery, or chronic dry eye, talk to your doctor before booking. Lash extensions and lash lifts should also be removed before your appointment. Permanent eyeliner is also not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Types of Eyeliner Styles

Several permanent eyeliner styles exist, including lash line enhancement, winged, lower line enhancement, and classic.

Lash Line Enhancement

Pigment is placed directly between the lashes, with no line visible above them. The effect is a fuller, darker line that makes lashes look thicker without anyone being able to tell why. This is the most natural-looking permanent eyeliner option and a great starting point for first-timers.

Classic Eyeliner

This is a defined line drawn along the upper lash line, similar to the eyeliner you'd apply with a pencil or liquid pen. The thickness and shape are tailored to your eye, your lash density, and the look you want. This style suits most face shapes and ages well, as it softens with time.

Winged Eyeliner

Winged eyeliner is the classic eyeliner shape extended into a small flick at the outer corner. It gives a lifted, finished look. It works well for clients who already wear winged liner daily. The wing length and angle are mapped to your brow shape during consultation.

Lower Lash Line

A soft, lighter accent under the eye, usually paired with one of the upper styles. This is a more advanced look that works best on certain eye shapes. Your tattoo artist will let you know during your consultation if it's a good fit.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

Your appointment starts with a consultation. Your tattoo artist will assess your eye shape, lash line, and desired look. Then, they will draw the shape directly on your lids with a pencil. Nothing moves forward until you check it in a mirror and approve every detail. If something feels too thick, too thin, too sharp, we redraw.

Once the shape is set, the artist will then apply the permanent makeup pigment. A full upper-lid session usually takes about 90 minutes to two hours. You'll go home with written aftercare and healing instructions.

How Permanent Eyeliner Heals

Healing takes about four to six weeks for the surface, with full settling underneath by week six. The colour will look darker and sharper for the first few days, then soften and possibly look patchy from days five to ten as the top layer flakes off. Here are dos and don’ts while you heal:

  • Pat the area dry after washing your face. Don't rub.

  • Skip eye makeup, mascara, and false lashes for at least 10 days.

  • No facials, lash extensions, or lash lifts during the healing window.

  • Keep the area out of direct sun and avoid tanning beds.

  • No swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, or steam rooms for two weeks.

  • Sleep on your back if you can, especially the first few nights.

  • Don't pick at the flakes. Let them fall on their own.

  • Use only the aftercare balm. No random eye creams.

If anything looks or feels wrong during healing, call (905) 897-3503.

Meet Alison, Your Permanent Eyeliner Artist

The eye is delicate, which is exactly why we want you to know who's behind the work. Alison is our in-house eyeliner tattoo artist. Clients often comment on how steady and unhurried she is, which are qualities that matter a lot when the work happens on your lid.

Alison takes the time for the consultation and listens to what you actually want. She won't start tattooing until you're fully comfortable with the drawn-on shape, and she works calmly through every session.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does permanent eyeliner last?

Most clients enjoy crisp results for one to two years. Oily skin type, sun exposure, and skincare routines all affect how long the colour stays sharp. A small touch-up every year or two keeps the look fresh.

Does permanent eyeliner hurt?

Most clients describe it as soft pressure or a tickling buzz rather than real pain. Topical numbing cream is applied before and during the session as needed.

Can I wear contact lenses after permanent eyeliner?

Skip your contacts for the first 24 to 48 hours, then ease back in once any swelling has gone down. Bring your glasses to your appointment so you can leave your contacts at home. Daily disposables are gentler on the lid during healing.

Will my eyes look natural right after the appointment?

The colour will look darker and bolder for the first few days, and your lids may be slightly puffy. This softens noticeably within a week, and the final result settles in around four to six weeks.

Can I still wear mascara and regular eyeliner once I'm healed?

Yes. Once you're fully healed, you can layer regular makeup over your permanent eyeliner whenever you want a bolder look. Most clients find they reach for mascara and pencil far less often, but you're never locked into one look.
